JJ: Did you finish filming or you’re still filming that? I try to show the little brother the “right path,” but I have a little bit of a dark side to me. Not something that has a million laces in case you have to go through an airport. JJ: What kind of music do you have playing in your i Pod? A little bit of funk on it, that you can get down with. DS: I have at least four to five albums worth of material, but I don’t have a release date for an actual album.DS: Yeah, we’re doing some re-shoots at the end of this month and we shot all of July and August in Saskatchewan. JJ: Can you tell me something about that music video you already filmed? DS: A little bit of everything but, I have my own stuff to be honest, going over mixes and just making sure things don’t suck before they go out. I’m just piecing some together now so when the time comes, I’ll be ready.So we got off on the right foot and started joking at the auditions, right before we started reading.

JJ: Did you and Selena have chemistry right off the bat? As soon as I walked in, she’s this really down-to-earth person.

She doesn’t take herself too seriously and neither do I.

Selena Marie Gomez was born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Mandy Teefey, who is of part Italian descent, and Ricardo Gomez, who is of Mexican descent and originally from New Mexico. Giving birth to Selena at 16, her mom Mandy recalls living "paycheck-to-paycheck".

Selena started out on Barney & Friends as "Gianna" in 2001 where she really discovered her talent.

They made a real concert stage, set up the whole venue in this old iron foundry.
